About these terms

laravelbd.com is run by Laravel Bangladesh, a volunteer-run community of Laravel developers. It is not a company. These terms apply to everyone who visits the site or creates an account. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Use your real name and an email address you control. Login works through codes, magic links and passkeys sent to or stored on your devices, so keep your email account and devices secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Community conduct

Be respectful to other members, online and at events. You must not:

• harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone
• post hateful, sexually explicit or illegal content
• impersonate other people or organisations
• send spam or unsolicited advertising
• try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site

Content you submit

You keep ownership of what you submit, such as your directory profile, talk proposals and event registration answers.

By submitting it, you allow Laravel Bangladesh to store, display and share it as needed to run the site and its events. For example, we publish your directory profile once it is approved, and list your talk in an event schedule if it is accepted. Only submit content you have the right to share.

Events

Events are organised by volunteers. Dates, venues and speakers can change, and events can be cancelled. Seats may be limited, so registering can put you on a waitlist.

At in-person events, follow the venue rules and the organisers' instructions. Events may be photographed or recorded, and those photos and recordings may be published on this site. Tell an organiser if you prefer not to appear.

Moderation

We may edit, unpublish or remove content, and suspend or delete accounts, that break these terms or harm the community.

Links to other sites

Resources, directory profiles and events link to websites and videos run by others. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.

Trademarks

Laravel and the Laravel logo are trademarks of Laravel Holdings Inc. Laravel Bangladesh is an independent community and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Laravel Holdings Inc.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is by volunteers. We do our best to keep it available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that it will always work or that everything on it is correct.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, Laravel Bangladesh and its volunteers are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from attending its events.

Leaving

You can stop using the site at any time. To have your account and its data deleted, email us as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
