About Laravel Bangladesh

The Laravel community of Bangladesh since 2012

Laravel Bangladesh is the official community of Laravel developers, engineers, artisans and enthusiasts in Bangladesh. What began in 2012 as a small group of developers has grown to more than 21,000 members who learn, build and hire together.

What we do

  • 01

    Meetups and workshops

    Regular in-person meetups in Dhaka and other cities, along with hands-on workshops. Talks are given by community members, from first-time speakers to senior engineers.

    Knowledge sharing

    Talks are recorded and shared with the community together with slides and notes. Discussion happens in English and Bangla, whichever is more comfortable.

  • 03

    Careers and connections

    Members find collaborators, mentors, clients and jobs through the community. Companies use it to find Laravel talent in Bangladesh.

What to expect at a meetup

  1. Registration and networking

    Check in, meet other members and settle in before the talks begin.

  2. Talks and sessions

    Around five talks or sessions on Laravel, PHP and related tools, each followed by questions from the audience.

  3. Open discussion

    Time to continue conversations, ask for help with a problem and connect with speakers and other attendees.

How to take part

    Create an account

    Log in with your email. We send a code or magic link, so there is no password to remember. A new email address creates your account, and you can add a passkey afterwards for faster login.

    Register for an event

    Browse upcoming meetups and workshops and register in one step.

  3. 03

    Get involved

    Propose a talk, add yourself to the directory or volunteer to help organise. The community is run by its members.

Across Bangladesh

The community began in Dhaka, where most meetups are held. Members now join from cities across Bangladesh and from abroad, in person when they can and online when they cannot.
